robot vacuums?

Anyone ever try one of those hovering vacuum robot things that vacuum your floors for you? I was thinking of checking them out but haven't bothered assuming they don't get things good enough.

Nope, but I have seen reviews....they seem to be mixed....I think you have to go to the higher priced ones to get anything good out of them, and even so a regular vacuum is probably going to do better....

but that is my opinion, not experience...

RE: robot vacuums?

My main problem is all the edges or behind things and underneath stuff they can't get at.

I'm not sure. lol. I think I prefer to vacuum myself, even though it can be a technical chore at times, I don't think about that. I just vacuum cause I feel like it. I think a robot vacuum, will take away that choice. If you manage to buy one, let us know how you find it.

I thought it might be a good thing to run while I am out of the house, to clean the wood floors, dog hair, etc. We'll see, I will report back should I decide to take this mission.
