Revenue Sharing

Sourcedevelop now offers revenue sharing to all of its members. This means that if you use Google Adsense you can make money for simply being an active member in our forums! We currently share 100% of the revenue on topics with our members. This means that the ads displayed at the top of the pages that show the content of forum posts, are ads of other forum members. After you have entered your publisher Id into your profile, and you have posted at least 10 posts, your ads will be displayed on topics which you have participated in. This is our way of thanking members for being a part of sourcedevelop. note: due to how the program works, by displaying ads on topics you have participated in, the pages where you are viewing topics are the only portion of the website where this occurs. However, 100% of this revenue on these pages is shared with members. The ad that shows advertisements for the members to earn on, is the one at the very top of the page.

To enable revenue sharing for your account, simply go to your user CP and click on the edit profile link. There is then a field to enter your adsense publisher ID. You can get this ID by looking at your google adsense code. For example: google_ad_client = "pub-5800000000000000"; The blolded part is your publisher ID.

RE: Revenue Sharing

So, can we discuss how much we've made as well?

RE: Revenue Sharing

I am not sure that google allows that in their terms of service or not, so i'll have to get back to you on that.

RE: Revenue Sharing

I believe it's allowed, it's allowed on Digitalpoint.

RE: Revenue Sharing

Revenue sharing is allowed. I've read through Google's TOS and found nothing against it.

RE: Revenue Sharing

Thanks for your decision to dispurse 100% of the Ad-Revenue to the participating members. Forums are rarely doing so.

You are welcome, although I will say that currently this is only displayed on the pages with topics (as I use a pre-made script for this purpose)...so eventually ads may appear on other pages of the website, like the forum index and such. But I do plan on keeping those pages 100% to the active members of the forums if possible.
