Register Button

Where is the best place to have the register button on a forum? Also, where do you think is the ideal place to let members know if they're logged in or not?

Thank you very much.

RE: Register Button

I would say that the best place to have a registered button is towards the top of the page. (after all that is what you read first)

Some possible suggestions are:
- Bold lettering notifying that you are not logged in or registered
- Something that mimics the information bar in Internet Explorer, saying that you are either not logged in or registered and that you can do so to become a member of the community
