Nice Job!

Hey Brian,

This site looks great! It's come a long way since I saw it last, excellent job!

Just a question, but why do you use MyBB? It seems to me that either SMF or phpBB would be more fully featured. (I'm not sure, I've never used the MyBB backend before or anything.) Even though I hate phpBB, it still looks slightly more colorful than this! Wink Just wondering...

Anyway, I sent you an email, hope to be hearing from you soon.

Regards,
John

RE: Nice Job!

Thank you for the input on the site.

There are a number of reasons for my choice of forum software.

As for the fact that the forums do not look as colorful as they could be, I can change the theme in to be anyway that I like it. I just haven't gotten around to changing it a ton, so the colors and such are just the standard.

As for not using PHPBB, I have had issues and seen many others, with phpBB forum getting hacked. Mybb on the otherhand isn't as widely used so it isn't targeted by hackers as much.

As for SMF, creating themes for it seemed much harder than some other forum systems. I had to actually edit files (instead of being able to create themes through the admin cp)

But again thanks for the input on the site,
Brian
