Last Person To Post Wins

I'm winning!

Edit by Brian:
Well I am going to throw some rules and explanation into here.

The title says it all pretty much, the last one to post in this thread is the winner.

You can only post once in a row.

Also, try not to have posts just containing "I'm winning!" sort of stuff, it is fine to have that, but try and add something else to it if possible, it makes the game more fun.

Somebody is declared the winner when nobody posts in 10 days

RE: Last Person To Post Wins

You lose.

And it will probably get infinitely long unless you specify a time limit. There should be a SD$ reward. Time limit--0 posts in 3 days, i'd say. Unless the forum starts picking up. Then i'd start shortening it.

Haha...i think not...looks like i am trying to take the lead again.

And sure, I can put a time limit on, 0 posts in 3 days sounds fine for one....

How big should the reward be?

Well, although this may be a game that isn't too common, it has been done at tons of forums, and hopefully it'll encourage some competition here...

RE: Last Person To Post Wins

well clearly i will be the last to post.

here is how it normally works. if no one posts in this thread for 2 weeks (or whatever time period the admin wants to set) the last person who posted wins!! prize can be pride, or a give away or nothing, but .... it is fun. this could go on forever. On another site I post on this thread is THOUSANDS of pages long and still going...
It kind of is a much more fun "how are you doing today" thread...

RE: Last Person To Post Wins

Wow...two weeks...that seems like a fairly long period of time......but i suppose it would make it more fun! Although if I made it two weeks, would that mean that nobody would ever really win?

Speaking of a thread getting 1000s of pages long, I wonder how myBB does with handling really long threads....

RE: Last Person To Post Wins

well they better be able to handle it, or you have a forum software that is not made for a successful forum, lol. You might have many threads that hare hundreds of pages long, or longer.
And you can make the terms of this fun thread whatever you want, make it one week, make it a month -whatever you want -you are the boss!

RE: Last Person To Post Wins

Well anybody have suggestions as to what a good amount of time will be?

If we can come to some sort of idea, i'll put it up in the first post....and then i'll still have to decide on what to do with whoever wins...if it be nothing, or some SD$, or whatever.
