Anyone have a favorite banner size or type (animated, square, etc.)? I wonder what the evidence is about people clicking ads, which type they like more. Inline, leader, text, etc.

I think I have read somewhere that the most effective type of ad is the square one (if it fits with your content nicely that is).

However, since I don't have anything that fits really nicely with that, I have yet to try it out.

I bet it calls for being integrated nicely with an article, text wrapped around, etc. Which makes sense. I tend totally ignore text ads so my instincts tell me people look at image ads more.
