By generally i mean, i am not sure why it doesn't seem to work out exactly, for instance if you look at how many SD$ i have...it doesn't add up. Not sure if that was a bug with the recount old posts system or what. I have thought about a little extra for topic starters, but I haven't decided on how much.

As for the thread on the myBB site, it was the last person to post wins....determined by nobody posting in 24 hours, and somebody won. And they actually had a second one which you can see here: http://community.mybboard.net/showthread.php?tid=15038

It can be a bad idea to give members who start a thread more SD$ than making a post, since members would just be randomly posting stuff to get the points, and it would be basically spam.

I was thinking about doing this on my own forum, but until there is more to do with the MYPS instead of just accumulating them...well, it was confusing my members. They wanted to know what to do with the points, and I got tired of telling it was just a trial at the moment!

Ok, well now that the shop is getting further along, I am starting to decide some things such as how many points to charge for different things.

1 .com, .net, .org, or .biz domain name (registration or renewal, through a registrar of SourceDevelop's choice, limited stock available)

1000 impressions (728x90) - you will not see your own ad

I just put these prices here for now, and feedback on them would be great....is something too high, something too low, etc. (actually I am sure probably all these prices will end up changing depending on the feedback received, as I am unsure of what to 'charge' for the different things)

Yes, at the moment you get 1 SD$ for every post you make.

Hmmm well it could take quite some time to earn enough duckets for some of those options.

Well if your site does get as big as you'd like... those number of impressions will be gone in no time for the banner ads. Maybe sell them by click? $5SD per click or $10SD per click?

Maybe I should offer the option to either buy advertisements based off impressions or based off of clicks?
