Browser baloney

I can't wait for the day this browser baloney is basically over. I can't stand the differences in browsers, users complaining because of this and that due to browser differences, so annoying. You agree?

RE: Browser baloney

I will say it does get a little tiring, although I don't think it will ever stop. Competition really helps create better products, and so there will always be somebody trying to make something better than what is already out there. And since the standards are not 100% clear on how every case should work (they couldn't be otherwise there would be no room for design to take place), every browser is going to do things a little bit differently.

RE: Browser baloney

It's beyond annoying in some specific ways, I can't stand it. The PMs alone from Members having issues or questions over things that don't look or perform right in their browser wastes a lot of time. Makes me go conservative on some things I don't want to!

RE: Browser baloney

Lol. I've been noticing it so. People are always quick to put the blame on the browsers with every single thing. I've noticed that in each forum I am part of, if there is talk of an error, they usually blame it all on IE for most part, or if someone can't see a page properly, it goes back to IE again. I was just thinking earlier, how everyone is gathered in this collective swarm, although interesting at times it can be pretty inaccurate or judgemental especially if they have no idea what they are talking about. The formation that IE sucks, seems to imprinted in everyones heads, and they have not even seen past it as simply a browser. As well as that, they seem to blame everything on IE itself, and not actually think that it might just be their computer. lol It's fashion you see, this talk. lol

LOL, true! There is a hate-IE thing out there. I find that they both have issues but IE seems to get snagged up more.
